Bishop Shay at the age of thirty four stood in a apple orchard overlooking a vast meadow in Tivoli, New York. He had a eighth grade education, was a outlaw and a active alcoholic. He was contemplating suicide when all at once he heard the voice of God within himself which told him to become a Minister. The voice, God, informed him He would supply all the tools needed to accomplish this unbelievable task. Bishop Shay decided to listen, give up alcohol, and do what God told him to do. He received his GED, enrolled at Drew University and graduated with a Bachelor in the Arts. He then attended Drew Theological School and was awarded a Masters' in Divinity. He was assigned and served Churches as a Pastor in New York,Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. After serving Curches as a Pastor he resigned and founded, along with others, Sanctuary of Christ. It was a long road, but, God kept his promise and assisted him all through the trek. Bishop Shay now wants to share this journey with others. The saving power of Jesus will set all the oppressed free and Bishop Shay urges all those who are lost in confusion, alcohol, drugs, depression and all social ills to contact him and he will help them conquer their problems and be one with Jesus ,the Christ. Bishop Shay says he did it and so can you. Why not let Jesus free you? Go to Him in sincere prayer and you too will hear his voice.
